More about Bethanne

What I do

My passion? Helping individuals struggling with eating disorders. Whether it’s anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, or general concerns around food, body image, or exercise- I’m here to support you. Before working in private practice, I worked at higher levels of care, including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, so I understand the complexities of eating disorder recovery. I also treat co-occurring mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, and OCD. I’m happy to collaborate with dietitians, psychiatrists, and physicians to ensure comprehensive care.

What it’s like to work with me

My approach is rooted in Health at Every Size and prioritizes inclusivity. I use a mix of evidence-based therapies—including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—to help client focus on emotional awareness, thought exploration, mindfulness, and reducing avoidance. Together we will work to explore patterns, the function of your behaviors, and how your past experiences have impacted the present. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported on your journey.

Who I work with

I work with clients 12 and up (younger on a case-by-case basis, please reach out to discuss) who are navigating eating concerns or general mental health challenges. I strive to foster an inclusive, affirming environment for all—I’m LGBTQIA+ affirming, a social justice advocate, and committed to body inclusivity.
